At the Richmond Art Gallery, I continued my exploration of the Ironing Board being markers or marking stones for the lives women lead and their experiences, and how the ironing boards could be read in very different ways. Coupled with my monoprints of images of the frescoes of Pompeii, which were part of my printmaking studies in Florence, Italy, these memories were certainly pressed into my consciousness.
